The owner of a Hardin County bar has avoided jail for over-serving a customer last year. The Lima News reports 61-year-old Richard Cribley, the owner of Regal Beagle in Ada, was given a five-day suspended jail sentence after pleading no contest to furnishing intoxicating liquor to an intoxicated person. The charge stemmed from an incident where a 21-year-old man was served 24 shots of alcohol and ended up in the hospital with alcohol poisoning last September. Cribley was also fined $225 and given six months probation.
