A grant from the Hancock County Farm Bureau will establish an agriculture program at the Hancock Historical Museum. The program will be directed by retired Findlay City School Teacher Deb Wickerham and will be designed for the school children of the county. A traveling agriculture trunk will be taken to area schools containing tools or implements that might be used on a farm, DVDs, music, models, charts, children's books and teacher resource materials. The program will help today's children understand the importance of the agriculture industry, the land and stewardship of the land in our society.
