A subcontractor accused of not paying its workers for painting work a the new Glenwood middle school has responded to the allegations. Rebecca Dentz is the President of Global Contracting Services and tells the Courier she wants to pay the workers, but the company hasn't been paid by general contractor ACI Construction for work done between October and December. Construction manager Chris Moore of Touchstone CPM tells the newspaper ACI terminated the services of Global during that time period for "not doing an adequate job." Moore adds that because Global had to be replaced, ACI is not required to pay the company.
