A crash that closed a portion of U.S. 68 south of Findlay Tuesday afternoon involved four vehicles and sent two people to the hospital. The Hancock County Sheriff's Office reports 61-year-old Jacalyn Rickle of Wharton was driving north on 68 when she went left of center and clipped the rear wheel of a semi driven by a Canadian man. Rickle continued north and struck a car driven by 59-year-old Nancy Beard of Findlay. In the meantime a tire came off the semi and hit a northbound car driven by 25-year-old Colton Shulte of Findlay.
Rickle and Beard were both taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of their injuries. The other two drivers were not hurt. Rickle was cited for going left of center.
