Lima Woman Sentenced For Assault In Northeast Ohio

A Lima woman who is HIV positive was sentenced for having sex with men and not telling them about the disease in northeast Ohio. The Lima News says 48-year-old Kelley Bean will spend eight years in prison after being found guilty on two counts of felonious assault in Summit County. The crimes were said to have involved two men, and happened between 2009 and 2012. Under Ohio law it is a felony for someone with HIV to not tell a sexual partner they have the virus.
