Bluffton Village Council is moving to fill an empty seat. The Courier reports the group met in exectuive session late into Monday night to try and come up with an application process. The seat on the council came open when Dennis Gallant was named the mayor following the resignation of Eric Fulcomer. Whoever gets the job will hold the seat until the end of the year. Gallant is running for Mayor, and if he wins, council would have to appoint someone to fill the seat again. However should Gallant lose, he would return to his council seat.
