Stepped Up Impaired Driving Enforcement Paying Off

Stepped up efforts on impaired driving enforcement on the part of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are beginning to pay off. In 2012 patrol arrests increased three percent and OVI-related crashes have decreased by 14 percent. Throughout 2012 troopers made 24,520 OVI arrests statewide. State troopers from the Findlay Post arrested 300 impaired drivers in Hancock County last year.
