When a national tragedy like the massacre in Newtown Connecticut strikes, we all have our ways of dealing with it emotionally. However our children haven't developed those coping skills yet, and that's something we need to be mindful of according to Tina Verhoff, the Chief Operating Officer of the Family Resource Center in Findlay... Verhoff says a wellness forum on helping kids deal with tragic events will be held Monday night at 6 p.m. at Blanchard Valley Hospital.
One question people have been asking in the wake of the shootings is if there is enough access to mental health services in the country. Verhoff says there absolutely is access available locally... (Audio Below)
