A Kenton couple was arrested in Allen County following a large drug bust Monday afternoon. The State Highway Patrol reports troopers responded to a report of an impaired driver on State Route 309 in Bath Township just before 5:30 p.m. When he was pulled over, 54-year-old Keith Whitmore was found to have 18 Oxycodone and 66 Xanax pills on him. His wife, 35-year-old Kelly Whitmore, was admitted they had 165 individually wrapped bags of heroin in the car. The street value of the drugs found was more than $107,000. Both have been charged with possession of heroin.
