Golden Apple Award Winners Become Members Of Academy

Representatives from the Golden Apple Academy made a presentation to the Findlay Rotary Club during their Monday meeting. The Rotary Club recognizes area teachers with the Golden Apple Award and the winners then become members of the Academy..

Judy Withrow, Director of the Golden Apple Academy, said the organization started in 2003 with the mission of developing and facilitating projects and/or service to the education of Hancock County Students. The Findlay Rotary Club will select three teachers to receive the Golden Apple Award in May. Withrow said the Academy is being asked to play a greater part in the selection process..
