A weekend car crash in Florida took the lives of two area residents. The Miami Herald reports 84-year-old John Steffen and 77-year-old Marilyn Steffen were killed Sunday morning when their car was struck by a sheriff's cruiser responding to a 911 call. The Steffen's lived in Florida part time and also in Pandora. The newspaper reports the sheriff's cruiser had its emergency lights on when the car driven by John Steffen crashed into the side of the patrol car.
