Property Damage Suit Filed Against Findlay Rejected

A Findlay man's suit against the city has been rejected. The Courier reports the Third District Court of Appeals in Lima ruled Wednesday that Jerry Kuhlman waited too long to file his suit that claimed Findlay was negligent in maintaining a storm drain, which in turn has led to flooding in his basement. Kuhlman was seeking $150,000 in damages, but the appeals court agreed with the lower court ruling that the statute of limitations had expired.
