Cooper Tire has seen some production cutbacks recently, a move not sitting well with some workers. The Courier reports getting complaints from full-time workers who have been working part-time recently. For their part the company says production declines have been brief. In an earnings report filed with the SEC Monday the company said it planned to reduce production this quarter as part of a conversion to new enterprise resource planning software. To prepare for the decline in production extra inventory was put together in the fall.
