State Of The City Stresses Unity..Long Range Planning

Findlay Mayor Lydia Mihalik gave her second State of the City Address inside a month before the general public at the new Glenwood Middle School Tuesday. While not that much different than the first address before GOP members on February 1, Mihalik said the new twist was to explain the larger-than-expected carryover balance from 2012 and what the city plans to do with it..

Mayor Mihalik said the city is still focused on creating a strategic plan to bring the cost of operations in line since the city's income tax rate is back to one percent. She added that there may be some community initiatives that the city may get involved with..
