Pope Benedict XVI's announcement that he is stepping down has the world's billion or so catholics wondering what's in store for the church in the future. Monsignor Mike Hohenbrink of St. Michael's Parish in Findlay spoke with Chris Oaks on Good Mornings today..

Fr. Hohenbrink saying that the Pope's move could set a precedent for future leaders of the church to step down if they feel they could no longer discharge their duties. In a world of changing cultures and attitudes Fr. Hohenbrink said it's important for the next leader of the church to maintain and preserve the family structure..

Hohenbrink speculated that if a pope were chosen outside of Europe he would be from South America from either Argentina or Brazil because of their stabilized culture and economy and the large catholic population.
