North Baltimore Gets FEMA Grant For Fire Equipment

North Baltimore will be able to buy some new rescue equipment thanks to a federal grant. The Courier reports FEMA has awarded the village a little more than $135,000 to replace air packs and related equipment. North Baltimore will be required to kick in $7,107 to receive the money. Fire Chief Ted Francisco says it's the first FEMA grant the department has ever been given.
