Rumored to be dating Billy Corgan, Jessica Simpson opens up about her relationship with the Smashing Pumpkins frontman, referring to him as a "very, very dear friend."
"I can't find good enough words to speak about Billy," she tells Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show. Corgan worked on a song with Simpson for her new VH1 show "The Price of Beauty."
She says of her time in the studio with the rock star, "For him to give his time and talents and share them with me, it was a great experience and I hope we can do more music together."
Multi-Grammy-winning music producer Quincy Jones will soon be honored by the likes of Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson, Usher and other music stars, who will record versions of his hit songs in a new album!
Q: Soul Bossa Nostra, set for release in May or June, will include contemporary versions of Jones' classic hits performed by Jamie Foxx, LL Cool J, Wyclef Jean, John Legend, Snoop Dogg andothers.
Jones will executive produce the album, which will compile songs selected by the artists themselves.

The United Nations presented popstar Shakira with a medal to acknowledge her philanthropic work for issues concerning children and youth.
Shakira founded the Barefoot Foundation in her native country of Colombia. The organization provides proper nutrition and an education to upwards of 6,000 children. It also extends its outreach to the kids' parents and community.
At the ceremony in Geneva, Shakira made a call for others to offer service: "It's not too late to keep our promise to our children, but we must act now. Together, we can make education and decent work for all a reality."
Country legend Reba McEntire and fellow singer Blake Shelton were up bright and early Tuesday morning to announce the Academy of Country Music Awards nominees on CBS' "Early Show" and ET got the backstage scoop.

The Osmond family has turned to one another as they strive to move forward following the suicide of Michael Bryan, Marie's son. Marie's brothers and nephew gathered in Utah on Monday night to support the release of David's new album, "Reflected." They also used this as an opportunity to reflect on the tragedy that has afflicted their tight-knit family.
Donny Osmond said, "Whenever there's a situation where there needs to be rallying, the Osmonds rally around each other and support each other. And, there's a lot of that going on right now."

“The stuff that I’ve seen doesn’t have any bearing to the reality that I’m in,” he told the Chicago Tribune of the dating rumors. “It’s like being in a cartoon. It has nothing to do with what’s really going on or how I feel.”
Corgan explained that he was helping Simpson record the theme song for her upcoming VH1 reality show "The Price of Beauty." The rock star says of the program, "[The show] has an interesting concept. She goes around the world to show how different people perceive beauty. In some cultures, bigger is better. In some, smaller is better. It’s interesting.”

Attorney J.Michael Flanagan, who represents the embattled physician, tells ET that the original timeline of events that Murray provided to police was incorrect.
RadarOnline.com initially reported that Flanagan acknowledged Murray's timeline was incorrect, reporting that Murray first told police he administered Propofol to Jackson at 10:50 a.m. and found him unresponsive two minutes later, but a 911 emergency call was made at 12:21 p.m.
