It seems all you hear about in the news is Toyota's recall. I own a 2009 Tundra and I have never had one problem with it. Yes, it is only a year old but still, I couldn't be more happier with it. My truck was part of the recall and I took it to the dealership. All it took was 10 minutes to fix a problem that I didn't have in the first place.

I think it's kind of weird that nobody has been able to even prove that Toyota has even had a problem with the accelerators. Yes...there have been plenty of complaints but still no proof! Just people claiming that it was the vehicles fault. I personally think that alot if not most of the complaints are due to driver error. I mean c'mon... all you have to do is drive around for awhile and you soon realize that people have no Idea how to drive. People don't even know how to use a turn signal...how much more would it take to learn which pedal is the gas and which one is the brake?

That's my two cents...for what it's worth!

These days I don't seem to be getting much sleep.  It's actually got nothing to do with stress.  It's my dog.  She's been staying in the house for the cold winter days, and usually sleeps through the night.  This past week has been another story.  She gets up in the middle of the night, looks out the window and either whines or barks.  I guess too many critters out there she wants to "play with."

The other night I think she may have wanted to protect one of the cats.  She just would not stop barking (which should have told us something was wrong because she normally doesn't bark).  At one point she came into the bedroom and was looking out the window facing the woods barking.  Dustin got up to see what was out there and he saw a big, fat, yellow cat running into the woods.

We figured that was the end of it, but Daisy whined for the next hour.  When we got up the cats were at the door waiting to come in, and we noticed Suds had a cut across his nose with some dried blood.

As I cleaned his nose off I wondered if Daisy new Suds had gotten into a fight and was trying to let us know.  I don't know, but I'd like to think so.  Hey, let me have my little fantasy...

Our last Blog was questions about High School.I thought I would think of random questions to ask my self this next time around.

Why did a hand full of geese stay at Lake Cascades for the winter? I really think they like the ice and snow..dah!

How many times do you have to tell your son Phillip to put his shoes away? I gave up ...they now stay behind the couch.

Why is the sky blue? Well imagine all the other colors as the color of the sky and you will always come back to blue.(what a lame question)

Standing or Sitting? Never stand when you can sit.

The Yucatan commercials heard on WKXA are they scripted? Yes, after they are recorded.

That's a rap.

Lately I have been watching the weather go from blowing snow to sunshine to who knows next. CAN IT JUST BE SPRING ALREADY! When you know stores are putting up the skirts and tank tops, makes me want to put on my flip flops wear my shades and Cruz down Main Street. It’s going to be a busy spring coming up, but going to be a lot of fun.

I am anticipating the warmer weather to arrive. I am not a winter person by any means. I hate driving in it, can’t wait to start wearing flip flops, & ready to get rid of the heavy coat. I have very much enjoyed watching the white stuff melt away. I’m ready for a good rain storm and the salt to wash off my vehicle, so I don’t have to clean it. I look forward to the flowers that I planted last year to sprout up. I’m sick of the cold and ready for a new season. As you can tell…I have cabin fever.

Well, we're 3 months into 2010, and not much seems like it's changed. I am still pretty busy, but I find myself looking more and more forward to the warm weather this year. I'm really just sick of cold temperatures. Other than that things feel pretty 'business as usual' around here.
