GALION 64 RIVERDALE 63 MOUNT BLANCHARD -- Lee Holderman and Jimmy Fox combined for 41 points for Riverdale Saturday night but the Falcons dropped a 64-63 overtime decision to Galion in North Central Conference boys basketball action. Holderman scored 22 points with five rebounds and Fox added 19 points and seven boards as the Falcons fell to 3-10 overall and 2-6 in the NCC. Austin Prosser knocked down 19 points with five rebounds and Austin Chaplin chipped in 17 points for the Tigers (5-9, 3-5). Riverdale (3-10, 2-6) Holderman 5-12 9-12--22, J. Fox 7-5--19, A. DEFIANCE 79 PATRICK HENRY 30 DEFIANCE -- No matter what kind of shots Defiance was putting up, they seemed to be falling as the Bulldogs pounded Patrick Henry 79-30 Saturday in nonconference boys basketball action. Defiance (10-5) hit 31 of 49 shots from the floor for 63 percent. The Bulldogs made 14 of 20 3-point attempts. Tory Gulliam exploded for 26 points for Defiance. Katwan Singleton and Will Batt added 14 and 11 points, respectively. Adam Prigge led Patrick Henry (1-12) with 11 points. UPPER SCIOTO VALLEY 57 NORTH BALTIMORE 21 NORTH BALTIMORE -- Upper Scioto Valley outscored North Baltimore 21-9 in the third quarter to pull away from the Tigers 57-21 in the Rams' nonleague boys basketball victory Saturday night. Shane Rofe led the way for Upper Scioto Valley (11-3) with team-highs of 13 points and eight rebounds. The Rams had four players chip in eight points apiece.
