Local Sports from The CourierMonday, January 21, 2013Prep swimming: Upper boys fifth at NCC meetNORTH ROBINSON -- Upper Sandusky's boys team had a pair of fourth-place finishes and the Rams placed fifth Saturday in the North Central Conference swimming championships on a day when the boys division saw eight meet records set. The Upper Sandusky girls, behind two fifth-place finishes, were sixth. Colonel Crawford captured both team championships, the boys nipping Ontario 326-316 and the girls outdistancing Galion 273-220. Upper Sandusky's boys had 112 points for fifth and girls tallied 71 for sixth.
