Prep bowling: PH's Slagle moves on to district
NAPOLEON -- Kristena Slagle of Patrick Henry captured the No. 1 individual qualifying spot Saturday in the sectional girls bowling tournament at River City Bowl-A-Way Lanes.

Bryan led the top five team qualifiers with a 3,299 and will be joined at the district tournament Friday at Interstate Lanes in Rossford by Liberty Center (3,267), Evergreen (3,200), Napoleon (3,146) and Swanton (3,093).

Patrick Henry finished with a 2,867 total for eighth place.

Slagle put together a 136-181-233--550 total.

The other Patrick Henry participants were Jayme Williams (157-157-116--430), Taylor Schwiebert (151-146-112--409), Eryn Williams (134-122-128--384) and Katie Boyer (110-101-131--342.
