There will be an all-area field at Van Buren tonight for the Doug Mowrey Invitational.
Carey's girls and Elmwood's boys are the defending champions in the eight-team meet. The host Black Knights could contend for the girls crown after losing to Carey by just a couple of points at last weekend's Blue Devils Relays.
Arcadia, Arlington, McComb, North Baltimore and Vanlue are also slated to comepete.
Field events begin at 4:30 p.m. with the running event prelims starting at 5:15 p.m. The running event finals are set for 15 minutes after the conclusion of the prelims.
Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students.
Findlay High School and Leipsic will head to Bowling Green for tonight's 5th annual Bobcat Invitational.
Defiance, Fremont Ross, Napoleon, Lake and Lima Senior will make up the rest of the eight-team event. Field events begin at 4:30 p.m. with running events set for a 7 p.m. start.
Columbus Grove's boys will defend their title at the 37th Spencerville Bearcat Relays, which gets underway at 4:15 p.m.
Ada will also be in the meet along with the host Bearcats, Delphos Jefferson, Delphos St. John's Fort Loramie, Marion Local and St. Henry.
Three other meets are set for tonight.
Bluffton and Ottawa-Glandorf will compete in the Lima Bath Ehresman Invitational, Upper Sandusky is at the Kenton Relays and Continental will run at Tinora's Bob Eisenhart Invitational.
On Saturday, there will be five schools in action.
Upper Sandusky will be back at Clyde's A.W. Hendricks Invitational, Fort Jennings at the Anna Invitational, Carey at the New London Relays and Vanlue at the Ridgemont Invitational.
Liberty-Benton's boys and girls will compete for the first time at the 39th Lexington Invitational.
