Ottawa-Glandorf (14-5 overall) clinched at least a share of the WBL title with a 7-0 record. Van Wert, Celina and Defiance were 4-2 in the league entering Thursday's action. Ellerbrock had nine kills and 18 digs for the Titans. Bellman had eight kills and four blocks, while Kelley Selhorst had 26 assists and four blocks. St. Marys fell to 6-14, 2-5. NEW RIEGEL 3 BETTSVILLE 0 NEW RIEGEL -- A shutout in a volleyball match is nearly an impossible task. New Riegel came about as close as a team can get with a 25-6, 25-3, 25-1 Midland Athletic League victory over Bettsville Thursday night. Hannah Tong blasted 30 kills, and finished with 25 digs and eight blocks for Carey (11-5, 5-3 MAL). Sydney Wentling was nearly flawless converting 116 of 121 setting opportunities and handing out 47 assists. She was 25 of 26 servicing with four aces. Carey has five regular-season games, including two MAL contests, left assuring the Blue Devils of finishing no worse than 6-5 in conference play.
