Cross Country: ONU's Steinbrunner 2nd in Division III
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Ohio Northern University senior Alison Steinbrunner posted the top NCAA finish ever by an Ohio Athletic Conference runner as she was second at the NCAA Division III national championships at the LaVerne Gibson Cross Country Course Saturday.

Steinbrunner stayed in the pack throughout the race and moved into the top five at the halfway point and was third with 700 meters to go, kicking past Keri Lambert of Williams (Mass.) to finish second in 21:09.

Christy Cazzola of Wisconsin-Oshkosh won the race in 20:53.

Ohio Northern teammate Lydia Weaver finished 95th (22:44) out of 277 runners.
